During June-July it rains in Shillong, and the temperature is moderate, though it fluctuates from moderately warmer during the sunny spells to moderately chilli during the rainy spells.
A light pull over (or a half sweater) should be enough during the rainy spells, but this may not be required during the sunny spells.
Participants should carry umbrellas.

How to reach
(i) Come to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station by Air/Train.
(ii) Take a shared Taxi from Airport to NEHU campus, or take a shared Taxi/ Sumo from the Railway station to NEHU Campus. (Most taxis go to town and NEHU Campus is out of the way, so the taxis charge some extra money say Rs. 100 in addition to usual fare),
(iii) Your accommodation is booked at the ICSSR guest Hose in the NEHU Campus, near the New NEHU Guest House.
