Syllabus:  Introduction to Lebesgue measure on R^n and Lebesgue Integration Uniform convergence of sequences of functions. Weierstrass approximation theorem. Stone-Weierstrass theorem and applications. Properties of harmonic functions and solution of Dirichlet boundary value problem. Properties and examples of Hilbert spaces. The notion of a reproducing kernel Hilbert space and examples of multiplication of operators on such spaces.
